On Friday 14th May, Rhoose FC played in the final of the South Wales Senior Cup against Rhydyfelin AFC at Aberaman. Rhoose took the lead early in the first half, but it was all square at half time. In the second half Rhoose piled on the pressure and scored twice to round of a superb performance. The Rhoose FC management and coaching team of Steve Jones, Ken Bryl, Andy Pritchard, Robbie Ashman and Paul Giles `Gilo’ were delighted with the win.
Rhoose FC finished third in the South Wales Amateur League Premier Division this season which was a great achievement considering they were in the Barry and District League 4 years ago and have gained two promotions in 4 years.
